@thesunnahguy: We live in a world of fake bravado. We have no existential threat of war or invasion here in the west and unlike previous generations who would hold warriors, scholars and saints in high esteem, today unfortunately we are truly confused as to what true “masculinity” and manhood actually is. The pseudo performance online from men flashing their lifestyles, showing their hard and putting on a show for everyone has left this younger generation confused and lost. Leaving many young men wondering how to become a real man. In this video I share some surface level paradoxical examples to highlight how far we have drifted from our real understanding of who true men really are. And I’ve decided that as someone who had led men for over a decade in many different realms, that’s it’s time to step up and bring Muslim men together in an environment of brotherhood that will allow us to embody the spirit of our pious predecessors and warriors of old.
