I’m a nurse. We give this to all our postpartum patients before they are discharged from the hospital. Anything above a 10 is flagged and an automatic social work consult is needed. That is crazy! Lindsey was failed!

You can tell that this doctor was very new when she treated Lindsey. But the thing that made me angry is that she offered services in postpartum depression but never read or trained in any training or research beyond what she learned while a student?!

All the appointments were via telemedicine because it was during Covid and telemedicine was used by most doctors at the time. She should have at least gone in person once to do an evaluation.

my baby’s pediatrician gave me this test. I scored so high she called me from her personal phone. She was so worried about me. She calmed down when I told her I was under the care of a perinatal psychiatrist. She wanted to know who I’ll never forget her.

The PHQ 9 is a generic depression screening tool. The Edinburgh screening tool is specific to depression in post partum. It is the standard. This is a failure of Dr Tuft.
