Unfortunately, a mix of fp2 and the nature of this game's mechanics killed it painfully. The state of the game became so defensive and it's incredibly sad to see. It was kind of always like this but Steve and Kazuya were nails in the coffin

Really is a shame how this game developed. Half the characters have a 0-50 combo they can all fish for so in some matchups not interacting is just geniuenly ur best option. Hopefully they try to address this probelm in smash 6
