yeah i didn’t get my toes done for awhile cause i couldn’t afford it and my grandmother said “your man is gonna leave you if you don’t take care of yourself” I said if the father of my child leaves me because I didn’t get my toes done, he can fuck right off. She was speechless. Now we’re both shocked 😊

as a licensed esthetician with more medical experience and severe cystic acne at one point i have gotten the "how come you do this but can't fix your face" it's crazy the way people feel so invited to be rude. be rude back girllllll 😂😂😂 being blunt and making them feel awkward is my favorite like we can both play this game!!! from one jersey girl to another you SLAYYYY keep your head up sister girl

i have really bad ocd and pick sooooo much. i switched from picking my skin to like really obsessing over my teeth and flossing. it offers the same satisfaction and cures the OCD itch but my skin and teeth have never looked betterrr

At my worst my face always almost fully covered in open wounds that didn’t even look like acne anymore, I went to the pharmacy to pick up meds from getting my wisdom teeth removed and the pharmacist doesn’t hesitate to say “since you’re taking this for the wounds all over your face take them in the morning” I was too stunned to speak

Just wanted to share . My husband’s grandfather used to always say something about my husband’s weight. To the point we finally left in the middle of a family dinner one time. We were at family memorial months later and one of the cousins started making fun of the grandfather’s ear hair and he was SO MAD. We just laughed and said not fun when someone makes fun of your appearance. He never made weight comments again 😏

Elderly are like small kids. Brutal honestly! The hat comment is so you protect your face from the sun. I’m in my 50’s and started to wear a cap or hat around 10 years ago. Sun exposure to your face is brutal even if you have SPF.

The hat suggestion may because she thinks the sun might aggravate it or even caused it. While it was not a nice thing to say to a stranger, that generation seems to express caring differently. Suggesting a hat may be her way of expressing concern. JMO.
