But there’s something special about seeing it early in the morning. If you catch the 8 AM boat ride, you may get lucky with a rare glassy lake effect. The water can become so calm that it reflects the surrounding mountains almost perfectly. That calm water isn’t something you can count on here though. Two Medicine is often exposed to winds, which can quickly create ripples across the lake and change the view. That’s why an early morning visit can be worth it.
