He said "work for the money you want to make and not the money you do make. And if someone ever asks "we'll how much money do you want to make?" your answer should always be "more"."

seriously there's no reward for being a good employee im on time show up work my ass off. Just to be screwed by the no shows lat people and slackers. my reward boss took my days off. cause im reliable while the slack ass employees get to show when they want, do what they want, and get requested off days. so my lesson has been stop doing it. yet I cant because of my work ethic and pride.

IT'S also hard to find a Good Employer...both sides need to do better. I got called down because I clocked in 5 minutes early...so I clocked in I minute early...still got called down...they did not want to pay overtime...I had to clock in right on time everyday.

Not speaking for the younglings, but everyone else have been screwed over so long people stopped caring. Why bust ass and give 110% to see nothing back. Not only nothing but ya can’t afford basic shit like a roof and food. I’ve always put in the effort at work, but not gonna pretend there hasn’t been days where I don’t have the f**knit attitude and what’s in it for me… employers want every employee to do the work of 2-4 employees each. For less than one employee paycheck. AND THEN you’re called lazy when you don’t. Or my favorite called lazy when you do all the work of 1 employee but not 2 or more 🙄. Also if ya can’t afford to pay a living wage which would incentivize most people (I know I’d hustle every day without question) you don’t deserve to be in business.
