I was there a month ago! Goat Lake was still under snow, we camped at the junction of the PCT, and Old Snowy was an incredible day hike from there. Thanks for sharing the information. It's such a beautiful region.

Where have you been every single time I’ve done that loop…. Just throwing out facts. What kind of rocks can I find there? Any pretty rocks? I’ve even climbed up old snowy lots of volcanic rocks.

Really cool hike is Saint Helens, Washington you have all the volcanic ash still along the pathways you can see remnants of the aftermath of the eruption. It is really pretty cool like one of the hills you’ll see there’s like broken tree, branches, and trunks. They look over to the other hill across from it and you’ll see where the rest of the tree embedded itself into the hills things like that just really cool the notice and see we live in an amazing world
