What if you had one side of your thyroid removed before due to a nodule cancer. Now your other thyroid has a small hypoechoic nodule growing. Is it safer just to remove the rest of the thyroid?

if hashimotos causes such issues… wouldn’t it be better just to remove a thyroid even if it’s not cancerous for symptom sake? I don’t feel like thyroid meds help at all…

: I have over 30 nodules I was told yesterday that 50% benign the other ones are suspicious sold with califorcation and they are dark… I’m so stressed and I’m still in pain after the biopsies.

Been following you for a while. How about a larger uni-nodule in the order of 8cm x 6cm x 4 cm? Is radio frequency or surgery is the only option. Multiple biopsies - non cancerous. Growing gradually for the last 20 years. Thyroid hormones have always been within threshold. Has there ever been a case where they just cut off the nodule or half thyroid has to be gone with surgery option. Appreciate if you respond. Thanks a lot for all your very helpful videos.

partial thyroidectomy for multiple nodules and a cyst on the isthmus in 2013. 3 years later multiple nodules and cyst remained. recently within 6 months I grew a new buddy on my isthmus. why would one grow there now after no many years?

i have three nodules, 1 in the left side. 1 in isthmus and 1 in right side. i have been 3 times for biopsi and the one in left side and isthmus is Bethesda 4. i am going too the hospital for surgery left hemithyreoidektomi and isthmoidectomi okctober 13.

Have you ever seen a nodule Hertlhe cell diagnosis turn cancerous? Mine is a tr4 and biopsy said not cancerous but it was categorized hurtle cell.
