Why was this dog, who clearly has issues with people and being out in public, loose during training? What is the point in having a dog who can lay in a down stay with the handler no where around, next to automatic doors where people walk in and out? I can think of 1000 safer ways to proof a stay and build confidence. If you are a dog owner and you hire a trainer, just know you can be held liable if your dog nails someone out with your trainer, especially if they have poor insurance, no insurance, and no assets. This is so wildly problematic… am I overreacting????!
