@eonaveil: On April 12, 2016, 16-year-old Mekayla Bali disappeared from Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Canada. That morning, Mekayla left Sacred Heart High School shortly after arriving. Surveillance footage later showed her at several locations around Yorkton, including a bank, a pawn shop, and a Tim Hortons. At one point, she texted a friend saying, “Hey I need help,” but shortly afterward said she had figured it out. Investigators also identified about an hour that morning during which they could not establish her whereabouts. Later, Mekayla went to the Yorkton bus depot and asked about a bus to Regina. However, she never bought a ticket and never boarded a bus that day. She was last seen shortly after 1 p.m. on April 12, 2016, at the bus depot. Then she vanished. Ten years later, Mekayla Bali has still not been found. Saskatchewan RCMP continues to investigate her disappearance, and more than 1,000 tips have been received and investigated.
