Yeah, downright terrible takes in this video. Lutron at 5/5 but Hue at 2/5 is absurd.

My hue lights are 16 years old. Been to 5 different homes, and never once had to restart. Hue is a 6 out of 5

Philips Hue makes great quality products, they’re just extremely overpriced

of course this guy loves the stuff that locks you into a service contract with probably his company. there's nothing wrong with Philips hue other than the price and you can basically make anything else out of an esp32 sensor.

I bought my Philips hue bulbs over 10 years ago. None of them have burnt out. Worth the money.

I got a Hue filled home - just wish the Hue Labs was still around so we could do more custom stuff. Fairly boring/limited now but yah always works reliably.

Hue is good enough honestly. I’ve had the same bulbs for 6 years and haven’t had an issue. They always work with the bridge and Alexa, never randomly disconnected or anything where I couldn’t use them.

I disagree, Philips Hue is the best, especially if you have lights for your TV. I've been using Hue bulbs and back TV lights for 3 TVs and some for my gaming room for over 5 years now and I've never had a problem or needed to troubleshoot anything. Great for party and some cozy mode times

Of all the SmartHome systems I have in my house. Lutron has been the most unreliable. Surprisingly HUE has been the most reliable and it’s not even close.

I mean, if you want RGB lights, Hue is kinda the only option. Else, Lutron Caseta for the avg homeowner that can change a light switch.
