The thing is, One Piece has some of the best potential for filler. They could cook up any random island — an island shaped like a burger with a long-arm-tribe tyrant who secretly has the Shit Shit fruit and is plotting to poison the ocean, for example — and it would legit fit into the world because of how wacky it is. And people would EAT. IT. UP. People have been begging for more crew moments for ages.

honestly I started reading the manga and watching the anime, but after skypea I found the anime very slow so I ended up dropping and just reading the manga, tried again the anime when it started wano and dropped again in 2 episodes, I actually can't recommend the anime for anyone that ask me about One Piece, I usually just say to read the manga
