I understand why SA is brought into this conversation, and I would never minimize what a survivor goes through because I’ve experienced it myself. But as someone who may not be able to have children, this topic hurts me in a different way. The thought of a child having no choice in any of it and losing their chance at life is genuinely painful for me. I know everyone has different circumstances and beliefs, but I think my feelings come from a place of grief as much as anything else.

I’m sorry but some girls aren’t mentally or physically ready for a kid. Some girl didn’t choose to be pregnant (SA) and some girls are in a situation that will affect the baby in a bad way. Sometimes abortion is better for both the baby and the girl. But THATS a conversation ur not ready for. I agree that if u can have a baby and ur in a good place in life u should have the baby but sometimes there’s no better option other than abortion. And Ik some ppl might say “but u can put the kid up for adoption” but do u ever consider how they will feel when they grow up? They feel depressed bc they feel like it’s their fault, they wonder what they did wrong, they wonder if they weren’t enough? Sometimes abortion is js the best option and that’s okay.. I don’t belive that abortion is murder bc how can u murder something that isn’t even fully developed? It doesn’t have a beating heart, lungs, or even any thoughts.

It’s not just rape thats the issue, some women may not even know their body isn’t able to handle having a baby or the process, could die, and possibly could lead to the baby’s death either way.

Everyone is saying they do it purposely etc. but SA and rape, it was FORCED into them and it was out of their free will. If they have an abortion because of those reasons then it is their choice. It’s never their fault, if they want to keep it then they keep it. I’m not on a side. Abortion percent this and adoption this. It’s their choice and they shouldn’t be pressured to keeping it or not because of a dumb percent, but if it was different and intentional and not forced and a abortion it’s another story but that’s my belief and I ain’t changing it.
