Having your phone on “loudspeaker” in a public place needs to be banned. I was in a pub garden the other day and there was a party of 12 drunk women in their 70s talking so loudly ( they were probably deaf) and then at one stage a massive bluetooth speaker appeared blasting out hits from the 60s. Unbelievable 😩🙈

I encountered this whilst in hospital recovering from surgery. a new patient came onto the ward around midnight, she went straight on her phone and was face timing her entire family for at least 1.5 hours, on speaker phone!!! Then another patient did the same at 5 am, unbelievable.

In hospital last week, a woman watching Eastenders for 3 days on loud on her tablet. None of the other ill people need rest!

Was beginning to think it was only me that found it rude. This and having very loud conversations on loudspeaker as you walk down the street etc. I don't want to know whether your eye lash extensions look good or not

I totally agree. Why people think its okay to just disturb everybody else beats me. If I was on a call with someone and knew I was on loudspeaker, I wouldn't be happy and would hang up 🤨🤨🤨

had to shout down a numpty on a plane for this . he even asked to borrow my headphones . said 'ill turn it off in 2 minutes' no, you'll do it now . and he did

Yes it should be banned and as said by others using phones on loudspeaker and shouting at it all those years of developing cutting edge technology for phones built in earpiece and microphones and headphones / AirPods to revert to how it is

I had a student in our staff room at lunch listening to social media out loud. I asked her if she had head phones which she did. So I asked her to put them on. Having adhd means that I find trying to have conversations with background noise incredibly difficult. It constantly astounds me how some of the younger generation think it is ok make others listen to their shit. Stop it and grow up!!! And put your headphones on. 🤬
