Being totally vulnerable but several years ago I had really dark thoughts and wondered if my kids would be better without me. I 100% was trying to think of how I could leave that would be the least traumatizing to my kids. I didn’t want them to find me. I didn’t want there to be anything messy or gory. I didn’t want them to wonder if I suffered or if they could’ve changed things if they got there earlier. I wanted something that would be peaceful. I was not in psychosis, just deep depression and an abusive environment. I wonder if being psychosis changes that?

Oof. I just finished your video, I paused to make my first comment.. yeah, you have such a good point there. I watched a small amount on live yesterday and the people commenting that he’s guilty that he did it, was wild!

I learned about that in psychology classes in college myself. Once I heard the details it didn’t line up with anything I knew. Especially, a nurse that cut the wrong way. A nurse trailing red brown stains all over. None of it matches what statistics show of women’s methodology. The state is also showing her as being a controlling uptight perfectionist and planned to mess up the house this way. You can’t make that opening argument then say if she did this she was in her right mind.

If she was lucid when she did it then she would have done when he was out of town. But I’m not convinced she did it.

I LOVE that you said that bc the place I worked before where I’m at now, was a state facility for mentally ill people who have committed crimes. So those that are deemed not guilty by reason of insanity (now they call it not guilty by reason of mental illness or defect)! Anyway!- they teach us to think that way too. Not so much asking what’s wrong with you. But what happened to you, what happened for you to do this or be this way. And it really kind of put into perspective how easily people can read a chart and judge a patient without ever seeing them let alone getting to know them, just based off their crime or their diagnosis or the nurses notes. Ya know. I try to spread that kind of awareness anywhere I go, anyone I train. What happened to you is way more welcoming than what’s wrong with you. 🥰🥰🥰
