I also hate that TCAP made predators look like goofballs rather than actual threats... it warped people's reality that because most predators that were caught were idiots that they aren't a real threat. predators aren't all dumb and need to be taken as an actual threat

Like the show was canceled because people in power were scared they’d get caught. If that was the case it would have been canceled way before. No it was canceled because the investigation was so bad in that case the sister of the guy who died sued for like 6 figures and nbc settled out of court. The bad investigation cost the network too much money.

Very simple, if you are against the death penalty or don't think it should apply to s*x crimes, you can't be ok with what happened. If you don't fall into either of those camps, we'll....you probably shouldn't be OK with it, but at least you're ideologically consistent

Everyone, regardless of the crime and how horrible it may be, is innocent until a court and jury finds them guilty. A lot of comments seem to want the death penalty for the accusation alone. It doesn’t matter how credible an accusation is, until a jury decides they are still innocent legally. And we HAVE TO have it this way. We can’t live in a society where I can accuse someone of something and that end up with them dead.
