After losing 244, I was very lean on top and still heavy in my thighs with hard, pebbly fat that looked like lipedema. But I didn't have any other symptoms of that condition (pain, bruising, excessive swelling, cuffing at the ankles). Still, when I had a thigh lift about a month ago, some of the fat was so fibrotic, the surgeon couldn't lipo it out with the cannula, so she had to cut it off. I learned that longterm, severe obesity stretches and damages the skin, but can also cause that fat fibrosis that does not respond to diet or exercise.

Hey, just thought. Wonder if using the thigh site for injections isn’t a good idea with lipedema. 🤷♀️

You can absolutely feel it under the skin. At least mine you can. It feels like hard lumps and doesn’t feel great when heavy pressure is applied.

I’ve got about level 3. I’m 70, about 229#. Only losing 2# a month on zepbound. Wonder if the lipadema was slowing things down. 🤷♀️.
