People in the comments are saying that they hope Laura moves in to Dee Dee's room. Whilst I want Laura to leave Luke, I feel like people are overlooking how hard that would be for Shawna and John. Watching your friend care for her newborn, knowing that you will never get to do that with your baby sounds like torture.

I’m trying to remember that Shawna here is just a character, because when she said “I don’t want to label it” it gave me some negative feelings. I feel like the “I don’t want to label her/him” used to be well intentioned but honestly I’m one of those kids and it meant my parents got an adhd diagnosis for me then rejected it and never told me. I found out in my 30s. I might have had more sense of self if my symptoms had had a “label” because instead I was just labeled as clumsy, careless, lazy and lacking.

I might be reading way too into it but piper’s voice is a lot like Barb’s with the formality and all. It makes me wonder if barb was a “different” little girl like piper and it was basically beat out of her.

From experience I think Barb is neurodivergent and never learned that about herself so acts the way she does because she doesn’t get that it’s wrong or not acceptable (my mum is the same as Barb. Literally.) I think Piper is neurodivergent too and perhaps in learning this it might come full circle and help them understand (not forgive) Barb better. Maybe. I dunno.
