the man just got to the point that he was stressed out because of the popularity of journey and at the same time he end up starting having hip problems in 1996 and they had to make a conscious decision to move on without Steve Perry which in my opinion was a big mistake okay they should have just waited till then did other projects like they said in the documentary I have a tendency to believe Steve Perry over the band themselves Jonathan Cain is nothing but a religious hypocrite and Neil Sean he has a Tennessee to be very combative in some aspects I don't get me wrong the group in itself is absolutely fantastic one of the band best bands out there but long story short I would believe Steve Perry's story over there but that's just me
