Steak Frites for two 💌 Another perfect dinner recipe for Valentine’s Day ❤️ Ingredients  2 ribey steaks  Salt Pepper  Your choice of steak seasoning  1 large russet potato  1 stick of unsalted butter  Parsley  3-4 garlic cloves  1/4 cup of heavy cream Juice of a half a lemon Half a shallot Parmesan  Directions  • season your ribeye steaks on each side and set to the side to get to room temp  • dice your shallot and mice 1 clove of garlic, clean your russet potatoes and cut into slabs about 1-2 inches thick, then cut into a long fry shape the cut those into 4s to make shoe string fries  • place your fries in a ice cold water for 20 minutes, then patting dry  • sear your steaks for about 5-7 minutes or until you get a nice golden crust, once you got both sides golden add half stick of butter smashed garlic cloves about 2 and rosemary and baste your steaks  • remove the steaks from the pan pouring the butter from the pan on the steaks and let rest  • for the fries fry in hot oil enough until they float to the top, remove to a paper lined plate and then double fry (this will take seconds for them to turn golden brown, remove once golden) • in the same pan you seared you steaks add half stick of butter and shallots and garlic to the pan, deglaze with lemon juice. Add your heavy cream, salt and pepper to taste.
