I have a destination for you- my hometown of Crystal River, Florida. Go swim with the manatees, swim in Three Sisters springs, go to the Indian mounds..then go to Homosassa to the wildlife attraction and see the hippo & eat at one of the last original Pizza Huts that never got remodeled left in America. Lemme know if you need any recs on hotels and company to take you on the water 🙌

Something to remember about Edisto, if you visit, is that it is protected coast! Turtles nest there and they are incredibly proud and protective of that. You can take kayak tours and see ocean wildlife. There’s tons of sea grass for a very natural seascape (not white sands/blue sea). It’s a beautiful island, but please don’t let it be overcome by tourist traffic!

Please try to visit the Finger Lakes in update NY, especially if you can go in the fall when all the trees are at peak color. I grew up on Seneca Lake (Geneva, NY) and it’s just a magical area overall. Watkins Glen State Park is a must, pro tip take the trolly to the top of the gorge and walk down it. Taughannock Falls is beautiful too (215ft waterfall) that looks like it’s framed by a heart from the top viewing platform. Lots of wineries, breweries and distilleries for those who partake as well. Tons of activities in the fall - please try to visit the area!

HI HI MEIMEI, How are you I hope you’re awesome on this lovely night that I am writing to you, I think it’s night for you anyway it’s night for me so I’m assuming since you’re a few hours ahead BUT THATS NOT THE POINT OF THIS I’m going off track 🫪 BUT HELLO I am writing to you for the first time, first time writing individually for you anyway. We haven’t known eachother for insanely long you’re actually one of the newer people that I’ve met in my life recently. Usually when people join that groupchat I don’t think much of it because when people are new I don’t know how to socialise and talk very well. But you spoke to me first and that kinda let my worries go a little bit. Here’s a fact about me tho, I have a connection with people that I feel, I have to feel that connection to be friends with somebody so the connection I felt with my kids and Emmy for example is the reason why I am friends with them. If I don’t feel that connection I don’t tend to speak to people. But when I followed you back and you spoke to me I started to feel that connection. And it’s not very often I feel it, but I felt it. That’s why we are friends and pretty good friends even tho we haven’t known each other for that long just yet. We’ve been speaking a lot recently and I really like that we have because I now feel way more comfortable with you compared to when you first joined the groupchat. Of course I have my moments but when I was stressed and not feeling great you came to me and made me feel safe and let me know there was someone there for me to talk to. And I really do appreciate that you came to me to say that, you do almost every time something is wrong so I can very clearly see that someone cares. YOUR POETRY?? HOLY MOLY. I don’t know how many poems you have written before but the ones you’ve written for me are amazing. They’re really good, not a lot of people write for me and write things directed to me. Sometimes I get awkward when people write for me because I don’t know how to respond but you write several poems for me and I loved every single one. They mean a lot to me and you sent them at the exact time I was feeling a certain way such as insecure or just not feeling great at all. It really brightened my mood, heavily 😭 I really loved them and I have them saved so I can keep going back to them when I feel a certain way. Even though this friendship is only just starting off, I really do love it already and I get so many good vibes from you. I feel very safe and comfortable talking to you about absolutely everything and it’s rare I become good friends with people so quick. It’s only ever happened with my online kids so I’m really happy that I’ve felt that feeling again towards somebody.
