People need to chill - I also had a late birthday and didn’t turn “the age you were for that grade” until the end of the year. You can test for it in kindergarten and most girls test out and most boys get held back for maturity

Homeschooled or not, this is still an important milestone every year for kiddos and parents! Birthdays fall on different timelines, mine was on the last borderline of August and I could choose his grade. But you have the ability to advance kiddos based on their knowledge with hs (like Layla!) 😍🥰🫶🏻
