The first time you pick up that Milwaukee tool and you become invincible. You spend years believing that they are the best tools ever made. Then suddenly one day, you realize that they are just over priced turds. You go to Harbor Freight and pick up some Hercules and Bauer tools that out perform those precious Milwaukee turds.

I buy the brand that matches my batteries. DeWalt had the best sales at the time I needed to buy tools. I'm pretty sure it's how the majority of us picked our brand.

Plug in saws, DeWalt - well there isn’t even a Milwaukee plug in anymore, cheap burnable tools like hammer drills and mixing drill, cheapest plug in you can find. Older the better. Jig,, circular saw for framing, drills( older m 18 ones, new ones do t hold a bit for crap) specialty weird shit Milwaukee. Finish carpentry I like DeWalt. I still haven’t found an impact driver I really love, maybe it’s just me

I wish Hart was better. The white with blue trim is so good. One time a customer had a Hart impact and I asked to try it. It was sadly like the little train that couldn’t. Then I let him almost break his wrist on the Milwaukee 🫡

I struggled picking because I did electrical work and the company had milwaukee i prefer their hackzall and they're portaband is so much better than dewalt but most my home tools are dewalt klein electrical tools a makita table and some milwaukee hand tools
