Guys it’s ok to be jealous! This was my dorm and I payed for it myself! I also am an RA and don’t pay for my housing! It’s ok if it’s not your style. Let’s not yuck someone else’s yum if it doesn’t hurt anyone!

Girl no. You do not get to judge girls these days. Let them be. My daughter’s dorm looked amazing and she 100% did it on her own from her own designs and home goods and TJMax.

I will say, someone dad on my floor had a flooring business and they brought in nice carpet for her. That was 10/10. because it was soft to lay on or hangout on.

I worked in campus housing for 8 years. People who do this are setting their kids up to fail! They micromanage every aspect of their lives, set completely unrealistic ideas of what their life will be like forever, and turn them into entitled babies.

It’s just more stuff that stems from social media and parents trying to outdo the others. I’m glad my daughter is going to a school where that’s not the norm. We are still spending a small fortune - but all picked by my daughter.
