I felt so guilty about not having enough time for my pup when my baby was born. He was very old and passed right before my son’s 1st birthday. The guilt has not left me. I’m so glad you’re having time for Gus.

The amount of things that people try to force on you by telling you oh you’re gonna hate this or oh you’re gonna hate that or oh you can’t do this after you have your baby or when you have kids is insane because it’s really just about training and about different peoples personalities because I have four dogs and a heavily decorated houseThose things will not be changing.❤️🥰

My dogs kept me sane while i was postpartum. Every-time i got up, one of them was right beside me. They were my saving grace🥹

I was so nervous to bring my twins home because my 12 year old German Shepherd has always been an only child. He’s been SO good with our boys. I think he deserves some new toys too😭🥹

Wait, how was your dog sick? I also just brought home a baby last month and my dog had diarrhea as soon as we brought him home. He wasn’t acting anxious necessarily but now has it again 10 days after recovering and the vet thinks it might be from the stress/anxiety of the baby 🥺
