We saw a home built in 1956 with the original kitchen. It had a 1956 dishwasher, the stove was electric from 1956. It was really cool. Nothing had been updated. A doctor had owned. It did get sold and the new owners gutted and updated the whole house.

Not happy about those ceiling cracks in the front room. I’d paint that yellow bathroom for sure and seriously gut the kitchen and move the laundry appliances. But it has some great bones.

corner windows, cornered fireplace, butler door and quite a bit of land. if all the cabinetry and builts in are solid wood, they'd be wonderful to modernize with new hardware, hidden internal drawer rollouts and other improvements. the price seems right for what you get and for what's needed to be done.
