@missy23232: Executive presence explained by someone who built and led teams at the executive level for 20+ years. The classic interview framework you learned early in your career could be costing you the job now. Executive presence isn't a personality trait. It's a skill that can be built at any stage of your career. I work with mid-level through senior professionals who are ready to lead at the next level and need the tools to get there. Ready to build yours? #executivepresence #leadershipdevelopment #careergrowth #executivecoaching #professionaldevelopment
I hate behavioral questions. Interviewers can be so subjective and pass you even if you have all the experience

Oh my, I fear this message was for me. 🤭 In an environment that is so competitive it is hard NOT to stick to this framework because I'm trying to convey my skills to show what I've accomplished. Been out of work almost a year, getting the final interviews for senior roles I know I'm very well qualified for, but I'm not getting any offers. Am example how to deliver this would be great.

I did 90 seconds in my Senior interviews, but I'm a really good storyteller. I just had to learn to "land the plane" & not ramble, then ended up w/an offer!

This is great to hear. My natural tendency is to basically give a BLUF - bottom line up front. 1-2 sentences. I’ve struggled with the STAR format bc it was always too wordy. Plus if the hiring manager wants more details, they can ask. Really glad I found this video before my next interview!!

I always thought the S. And T. Were redundant. If you know the situation/ problem… solve it. Why be tasked with it?

I agree! Has someone who’s interviewed people for 17 years? I just want everyone to get to the point and fast!
