Oh my, I fear this message was for me. 🤭 In an environment that is so competitive it is hard NOT to stick to this framework because I'm trying to convey my skills to show what I've accomplished. Been out of work almost a year, getting the final interviews for senior roles I know I'm very well qualified for, but I'm not getting any offers. Am example how to deliver this would be great.

I did 90 seconds in my Senior interviews, but I'm a really good storyteller. I just had to learn to "land the plane" & not ramble, then ended up w/an offer!

This is great to hear. My natural tendency is to basically give a BLUF - bottom line up front. 1-2 sentences. I’ve struggled with the STAR format bc it was always too wordy. Plus if the hiring manager wants more details, they can ask. Really glad I found this video before my next interview!!
