I mean the app thing is minor. I feel like they're going to sort that out very soon. I don't think the phone is bad overall. But that's just me.

Electrical Engineer here: Just a tip to everyone with a folding phone. remember how thin the device is compared to how much battery it has. Most smartphones are designed to cool down with the air around the device to save space by removing cooling components. The device will tell you when it's dangerously warm otherwise it's fine. all phones get hot during charging and heavy usage. PS i git the 8 ultra and I'm loving it so far!

Sorry your experience isn't good! apps will eventually become optimized especially since apple is coming out with their version of this passport style phone. Hearing up while charging? seems like you need a high quality charger cable and block because this doesn't happen to me.

the phone heats up cause your case is covering the hinge. try another case.. and yes some apps will not show up completely properly on either screens.

these problems are somewhat expected with such a new form factor. Once they work out the kinks in the next few versions it's gonna be really tempting, i love the look of it

para instagram tienes que usar la pantalla de adentro en vertical, así lo uso yo y como el teléfono es liviano es otro nivel. pd: van a ir optimizando las aplicaciones poco a poco, ten paciencia!

To each their own but I love my fold so much and as sad as I am to be returning my flip 7 this is a good trade. I love opening the phone to multitask. The freedom to watch tiktok and text or send an email or reply to comments and listen to music or shop is so cool. in reality it's like having a mini laptop in your pocket that's also a phone. As much as I like the flip you need to open it up more times to use all the functions. This one is only when you want to and that's really cool. 😊❤️

You can't use a case with hinge protector. It doesn't let the heat dissipate.

You have to get the ultra. The specs alone say it's a downgraded version. I have a zfold7 and comparing told me I'd never get the regular zfold8

i went from the zflip 7 to this and i feel the same like i miss having the actual feel of a phone. im not much of a tablet user so idk why i thought this would be good. i only like a small phone when doing things like changing a song or for a small purse so i miss my zflip terribly and im going back to the zflip 8 instead in pink which i CANNOT WAIT
