Why it seems like the older generation of Vietnamese and some younger Vietnamese are brainwashed into thinking that by showing fake patriotism will save them from oppression. They act out of fear, and by doing so they lose sympathy for others, they support the oppressors and ignore the cry for help from immigrants like themselves. It's truly discouraging and disappointing, but people like us who are more aware and well-informed, we need to speak up! We need to use our voice to educate and do better. Even when we know we might be able to change their minds, but at least we will help the future generations to think differently and not let trauma make them live in fear or survival mentality.#vietnamese #vietnamesediaspora #trump #abolishice
