I have this weird thing where I get random flash backs of dreams, in my waking life. its like a memory that comes to me but its a dream memory, and I know its from a dream because my "dream world" has a very specific feel to it. And the sense of familiarity is intense. I get flashes of dreams I had years ago, even ones from childhood that I still remember. I call it "dream de ja vu", cos I don't know what it is or why it happens to me.

I wish more than nearly anything that I did not dream when I went to sleep, that is how bizarre, disturbing and lucid they are , not to mention often in vivid colour. Very occasionally I will have a flying dream , they are definitely cool.

I had this dream where I was dating a guy I didn’t really know. He threw me a surprise party all his friends, cake, gifts but then money went missing from my purse. When I looked for him, he’d vanished. After that, I was desperately looking for a clean, private bathroom, but couldn’t find one, and people kept commenting that I ‘pee a lot.’ Then I couldn’t find a ride home, and when a woman appeared to help, she disappeared too. I woke up at 3:33 with my ears ringing, and the whole thing felt really weird. 🤔

There's a place I've been to a couple of times that is eerily beautiful, like a cross between a Tim Burton and Willy Wonka setting. The atmosphere is creepy, but I find it quite fascinating, and I want to visit more often.
