@ketofocus: This is one of my FAVORITE meal prep systems because I’m not actually cooking all of our food on meal prep day. 🙌 I portion out my proteins, season or marinate them, seal them in sous vide bags and put everything in the freezer. Then when it’s time to make dinner, I grab whatever we’re having that night straight from the freezer and drop it into the sous vide water bath. No thawing and very little work on my part. By dinnertime, my protein is perfectly cooked, juicy and ready for a quick sear. It makes weeknight dinners SO much easier, but we’re still getting freshly cooked food instead of eating the same reheated meal all week. And yes, the sous vide bags I use are food-grade bags designed for sous vide cooking temperatures. If you’re still concerned about cooking in plastic, you can also use reusable food-grade silicone sous vide bags. #MealPrep #SousVide #EasyDinners
