Sorry but shock is real, disbelief & so much more. I sent this message to my boss the same day my mother passed because life goes on & when you have responsibilities & possibly children, shit doesn’t stop. I was emotionless for the first week, going on with life like she never passed until it all hit me. Grief will never present it’s self in the same way
