As a NICU mom it always cracks me up when guys get floated in. Bedding doesn't match and the swaddle game needs work. 😂 y'all keep our babies alive so we appreciate you either way.

im sure you do a great job but as a 2x NICU mom it kinda bugs me that hospitals even float other nurses to the NICU. its such a specialized unit. and we had a few problems with float nurses too, not because I think they were bad nurses I think they just weren't trained enough in the NICU. 🤷♀️

Honestly the only reason I can see for giving the G1P1 stuff is to relate socially with the parents. It's highly unnecessary knowledge for a float other than to pass it on. We get REAL detailed though.
