My old boss showed me that trick 20 years ago. It works really good and has made me look really good many times over. Being called "The man that can fix everything" lol. Still good find, sad that you make less for knowing more. Had it gone to a simple mechanic they would have slung 15 parts on it and made 5 times the money.

Had this last year on a 2017 2500hd. No comm, same code. Splice pack for the split communication enable to the rear two/three modules.

usually halfway down the frame where the harness goes up over at the top you'll find the wire broken

I believe those also have a common spot right around bell housing that likes to rub and take out that ignition circuit
