Both my children are in acellus academy. Both thriving, and my youngest is doing a thousand times better than in public school. Plus the time we have, I get to teach him things like sign language, spanish, cooking, etc. He does school in the evenings because it works best for him. My oldest does school work while having a job and saving money for a car. I love acellus. The flexibility, family time, vacation time, is worth the money for my husband and I.

for all those talking about homeschooled kids being weird, ill take a weird kid over an indoctrinated kid, a bullied kid, a depressed kid and/or a dead kid.

As a teacher we use so many tech tools and curriculums to help us! And all of those things can be purchased by parents. Homeschooling in 2026 can be amazing if you have the funds/time to invest!

I did it too. She speaks 4 languages, plays tennis, the piano and sews. I do not. Pay for teachers and tutors.

something I wish people would keep in mind is that a lot of us DID send our kids to public school, but had to pull them for very valid reasons. I won't go into it on here but trust me when I say, I really wanted public school to work out, but it didn't.

Most homeschool parents BUY credited curriculums and have access to teachers, teachers with doctorates ect. Im sure some parents don’t do it like this but most do. All haters are just uneducated people with opinions based on assumptions….
