Caravans seem to get high miles. Have fleet of caravans at my work. many over 300k. company replaces vehicles when they have major mechanical issues, so they keep these things if they keep going.

I need to pull the transmission on my journey because of a slipping torque converter during lock up (no codes, you can feel it) I’m debating on just replacing the torque converter or whole thing with a used transmission at 175,000, what would you do?

I’m guessing here that’s a TE 62 transaxle. That’s what my wife 2010 came with and a 3.8 V6 with 254,xxx miles and going. And then I watch this and like guess wow that’s at least over a 100,000 + Miles more than ours. I do apologize for the long post. Have a Blessed day Tony.

I had one with 242000 that had the older 3.3 and I got it for a total of 80 bucks it had ac and ran and drive with a title but the head gaskets went out after like 6 months I did them because I thought it would be a good learning experience and it was it still drives and I sold it to a friend for 1500 bucks
