If I have time I will do it after toners and before serums but if I’m in a rush I just do clean dry skin and wait the 15 mins to put on moisturizer. I just recently started putting it on clean dry skin after washing my face and I have not had any crazy reaction thankfully.

I am in camp #2 because of the sandwich method. I have sensitive skin, so the toners (followed by tret, serums, and then moisturizer) acts like a buffer. I’m too scared to put it on first!

I had to take a break from tret. I’m afraid it’s to strong for my skin now matter how I used it so I’m just sticking to my my retinal 🤷🏽♀️

So when I started, I did after my toners and worked myself up to daily, once my skin was used to tret, i switched to clean dry face! I think it truly depends on your skin and what it can handle!!

I use it and honestly use it both ways - for me it’s gentler if I use it after toners so just depends how my skin is feeling ❤️❤️❤️
