I never understood the issue of mixed-race couples. In my country, we don't have this white or black society. We're all together—black, white, brown, gray, olive, and so on. There are all kinds of people, and it's natural for us to marry each other. My mother is so white that her veins are visible, while my father is brown. I'm olive-skinned, my brother is dark-skinned, and my sister is white. We have different shades of hair, and my family has a literally frightening mix of genes. You might see curly blonde hair with blue eyes—we simply have them. And it's not just my family; my whole community is like that. I just don't understand why it's a problem abroad.

I highly doubt this is true or maybe I'm naive because I live in Ontario Canada and have never heard once someone asking these personal questions. Whether it was a straight couple, gay couple, mixed race couple or age difference. EG: was out with my dad yesterday and he treated me to lunch. Did the server ask if it was separate or one bill? Sure!! But she also asked the 5 - 80 year old ladies behind us, and the obvious 40 year old couple beside us (holding hands) so she asked EVERY single person the same question. Had nothing to with age, race, sexuality, number of people... it's just respect for not assuming. My guess is that you live in some Southern, Christian, red State where they frown on this type of stuff and assume you must be there against your will

My daughter and her husband are a mixed couple. Only thing that has me “mad” is my daughter has a blue eyed baby!!! I love blue eyes (I have brown) her father has blue eyes and I was hoping genetics would play in my favor since my dad has blue eyes…nope 2 babies and both brown eyes like mine. I just had to wait for grandchildren. And when I tell you my grandson has the bluest eyes I’ve ever seen, it’s no exaggeration! I love my Nuggie 🥰🥰🥰
