@somerandomta4: Filippo Tommaso Marinetti (1876–1944) was an Italian poet, writer, and the founder of Futurism, an avant-garde artistic and cultural movement that emerged in the early 20th century. In 1909, he published the Futurist Manifesto, which called for a rejection of traditional culture and celebrated speed, technology, youth, machines, energy, and modern industrial society. Marinetti also supported violence and war as forces of renewal and later became a supporter of Italian Fascism and Benito Mussolini. His ideas had a major influence on modern art, literature, poetry, graphic design, and political aesthetics. #futurism #marinetti #fyp #slop
