New quality test || Sae Itoshi is one of the most talented and influential football players connected to Blue Lock. He is the older brother of Rin Itoshi and is widely regarded as a world-class midfielder, even though he is still a teenager. Unlike many of the players introduced in Blue Lock, Sae does not initially care about becoming Japan's greatest striker. His ambition is much larger: he wants to play at the highest level of international football and become one of the best players in the world. Sae grew up playing football alongside his younger brother Rin. When they were children, the two were extremely close and shared the dream of becoming the best strikers in the world. Sae was the person Rin admired most, and Rin based much of his own footballing ambition around his older brother. However, Sae eventually traveled to Spain to develop his career and joined the youth system of a prestigious Spanish club, where he experienced football at a much higher level than he had encountered in Japan. This experience fundamentally changed Sae's perspective. After seeing the quality of European football, Sae became disappointed with Japanese football and no longer believed that simply becoming the best striker in Japan was enough. He realized that his true strength was as a midfielder, particularly because of his exceptional vision, passing, technique, ball control, and ability to understand the movements of other players. Sae became capable of controlling the tempo of a match and creating opportunities with extremely precise passes. His return to Japan is one of the major events connecting him directly to Blue Lock. Sae becomes interested in the Blue Lock project because he recognizes that it is producing unusually talented young forwards. He is particularly curious about whether Japan can develop a striker capable of playing at the international level. Rather than automatically respecting the Blue Lock players because of their reputation, Sae evaluates them according to the standards he has developed through playing in Europe. Sae's most important connection to Blue Lock is his involvement in the Japan U-20 match. He joins the Japanese U-20 team and becomes its central attacking midfielder. This puts him directly against the players of Blue Lock, who are attempting to prove that their project deserves to replace the existing Japanese football system. During the match, Sae demonstrates just how large the gap between him and most Japanese players is. His passing is incredibly accurate, his awareness allows him to predict movements before they happen, and he can create dangerous attacks almost immediately. He also has the ability to manipulate the rhythm of the game, forcing opponents to react to him rather than allowing them to dictate the match. However, Sae's relationship with Blue Lock becomes more complicated because of his relationship with Rin. Rin originally idolized Sae and wanted to follow the same path as him. When Sae returns to Japan, Rin expects their old relationship to continue. Instead, Sae tells Rin that he has changed his mind about his own ambitions and no longer sees Rin as the partner he once imagined. This creates one of the most important conflicts in Rin's character development. Sae's rejection deeply affects Rin, and Rin becomes obsessed with surpassing him. What began as admiration turns into rivalry and resentment. Sae effectively becomes the person Rin wants to defeat more than anyone else. #animefyp #animeedits #mangaedit #bluelock #bluelockedit #sae #saeitoshiedit #alightmotion
