if the writers were smart, they would’ve used helaena as a clairvoyant who saw right through her family, remained quiet until this very moment where both sisters can finally admit their individual griefs which they can relate to each other. they could’ve both expressed how imprisoned they both feel. it would’ve been more gut wrenching for rhaenyra to find her sister had jumped out the window after their emotional confessions.
