While I definitely agree their relationship is so intimate and intense and beyond physical bounds, a kiss wouldn't ruin anything because it would simply be a physical display of it. Yes they don't NEED one but saying they shouldn't kinda falls back to the argument that queer relationships are inherently sexual and taboo since this kind of argument is never brought up when it's a heterosexual ship.
