You start mammograms at 40 unless you have a family history or a suspicious lump or something on your breast then it’s normal to start earlier

I had a mammogram and ultrasound a few months ago. The mammogram is uncomfortable but not bad. My lumps were cysts that can change size due to hormones, but I’m so glad I got them checked!!!

I got a mammogram when I was around 18. It was uncomfortable but it didn’t hurt. My grandmother had breast cancer so it was just to make sure. But don’t be too scared if it’s your first time or because you’re young so you’re scared it’s a bad sign. It really doesn’t have to be ❤️.

mammograms are so so important. my nana went to her scheduled one only 2 weeks ago and they found a lesion which turned out to be stage 1 breast cancer, meaning thankfully she can be treated and hopefully it'll be okay. thank you for educating and advocating! 🤍
