@mr_neigong2: A third-eye empowerment is not the same as fully opening the third eye through practice. This is the main misunderstanding surrounding my videos. In this Yi Jin Jing neigong tradition, the master emits zhenqi 真气 into the third-eye point, stimulating the upper dantian and other energetic centers within the head. The recipient may experience shenguang 神光—“spirit light”—as brilliant flashes, patterns, or mandala-like forms. This can be a powerful experience, but its primary purpose is to activate the energy body and support the development of the dantian and Microcosmic Orbit within neigong practice. It is an energetic empowerment—not a substitute for cultivation. Opening the third eye in the fullest sense requires years of disciplined meditative and spiritual practice, including the deeper cultivation associated with meditative practices such as neidan (internal alchemy). Neigong can help build the necessary foundation, but no master can complete the entire journey for you. Empowerment can give you a powerful boost. You still have to walk the path.
