@dco_enterprises: Carson Wentz deserves a lot more respect when we talk about quarterbacks of the 2010s. Was he an all-time great? No. But at his peak, Wentz was absolutely a high-level NFL quarterback. The best example is 2017: in just 13 games, he threw for 3,296 yards, 33 touchdowns and only 7 interceptions, producing a 101.9 passer rating and earning his first Pro Bowl selection. He was playing at an MVP-level pace before a season-ending ACL injury knocked him out of Philadelphia’s championship run. And people forget what happened after that. In 2018, Wentz returned and posted a 102.2 passer rating over 11 games. Then in 2019, he became the first Eagles quarterback to throw for 4,000+ yards in a season, finishing with 4,039 yards, 27 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. That’s legitimate quarterback production. His biggest problem wasn’t that he couldn’t play it was consistency, turnovers, injuries and eventually losing confidence and stability within the offense. His career numbers still tell you he was a productive NFL starter: through 2025, Wentz has 23,626 passing yards, 159 touchdowns, 72 interceptions and an 89.1 career passer rating. The frustrating part is that his peak came so early. That 2017 version of Carson Wentz looked like Philadelphia had found its franchise quarterback for the next decade. Instead, injuries and inconsistency completely changed the trajectory of his career. I’m not calling Carson Wentz a Hall of Famer. I’m saying 2017 Carson Wentz was THAT dude. The arm talent, mobility, size, off-platform throws and ability to create outside structure were all real. His career ultimately fell short of the expectations, but pretending he was never an elite quarterback at his peak is revisionist history. Sometimes a quarterback can be genuinely great for a stretch without becoming an all-time great. #CarsonWentz #NFL #PhiladelphiaEagles #MinnesotaVikings #NFLHistory

he would've won the sb that yr foles won for us...we would've never been in that position without Wentz. foles just brought it home but Wentz would've done the same thing💯💯
