@sky.kellisa: I figured getting her a “landline” young would help her learn to memorize phone numbers, call people when she thinks of them, and actually have conversations on the phone. It also gives her a little independence and a way to stay connected with family. She can only call or receive calls from numbers I approve, and I can set limits for when she uses it. It works through WiFi but has its own phone number! I saved the exact one under “landline” on my page.
