@icesnapped: 🎬 Fact: Evolution (2001) — This sci-fi comedy features a memorable, chaotic scene where a team must frantically extract a flying alien insect that has burrowed its way inside a character’s body. While the film is known for its heavy reliance on gross-out humor and early-2000s visual effects, director Ivan Reitman originally intended for the project to be a much darker, serious sci-fi horror film. It was only after studio input and rewrites that it shifted into a broader comedy. Orlando Jones, who played the unfortunate patient Harry Block, actually performed many of his own physical comedy stunts throughout the film. His frantic, screaming reactions during this intense sequence were heightened by the genuine, immediate comedic chemistry he shared with co-star David Duchovny off-camera.
