@vision4allacademy: Meet Ephratah Fasil—a Grade 11 student at Kallamino Special High School and one of the mathematics teachers at Vision 4All Academy. This summer, Ephratah had something special to share with us. For some time, she had been taking part in mathematics competitions across Ethiopia, challenging herself and gaining experience along the way. Her hard work eventually took her to the final three rounds of the MySoroban Nationwide Mathematics Competition. The final competition was held at Addis Ababa Science and Technology University (AASTU) and lasted for three consecutive days, bringing together some of the strongest young mathematics competitors from across the country. After the intense competition, the top 10 finalists advanced to the national stage. From there, only three champions were selected to represent Mekelle, Asella, and Welaita. And one of those three champions was Ephratah Fasil. She took 1st place, becoming the national champion of the competition. 🏆🥇 For her achievement, Ephratah received: 🏆 Championship Trophy 🥇 Gold Medal 📜 Certificate of Appreciation 💰 cash prize What makes her achievement even more special to us is that Ephratah is not only working hard for herself. She is also using what she knows to help other students as a mathematics teacher at Vision 4All Academy. Her journey shows what can happen when talent is combined with consistent effort and a willingness to keep challenging yourself.
