in mockingjay when her mom said she couldnt leave 13 to be with her in 12 bc it reminded her too much of prim... what about katniss??? she was so hurt and she needed her mom ☹️

ela nunca conseguiu ser a mãe que Katniss precisava,mas eu nem mesmo consigo julga-la por isso,ela não conseguia salvar Katniss já que ela não conseguiu salvar nem a si mesmo. E quando ela provavelmente achou que estava salvando Prim,a dando um rumo,uma paixão,uma profissão, então ela vê sua filha morrendo fazendo aquilo que ela a ensinou a fazer....

I understand why people hate her really I do as someone who's parent also stopped parenting due to grief. but I eventually understood when the only man I called dad died. I felt trapped in grief all I wanted to do was get up for my mom and my siblings but I just couldn't. It took a long time and lots of help to get up.

Quem leu Amanhecer na Colheita vai entender a falta de reação da mãe da Katniss na colheita… A capital usava o desespero dos familiares para fazer mídia, ameaçava as famílias para ficar fazendo entrevistas… transformava tudo num grande circo, tratava os tributos e os parentes deles como animais num zoológico! A mãe da Katniss era melhor amiga da Maysilee Donner, a garota que foi para a edição 50 dos jogos junto com o Haymitch e mais duas crianças do distrito 12. Ela viu a melhor amiga ser sorteada e morta, e anos depois, viu a filha mais nova sendo sorteada e a filha mais velha se voluntariando. Também tinha o agravante de que desde que o marido dela morreu na mina, ela ficou depressiva, mal falava, nem levantava da cama. Ela sofreu demais
