@up.edu.ph: University of the Philippines Manila Chancellor Michael Tee, addressed the graduating class of UPM in its 117th Commencement Exercises, Aug. 4 at the Philippine International Convention Center, Pasay City. He reminded the graduates to live a life of “honor and excellence in the service of the Filipino people.” “Go where your excellence is needed. Go where your honor will be tested. Go where the Filipino people need you most,” Tee urged the Iskolar ng Bayan. “The hope that brought you here must now become opportunities for others.” Among the 1,333-strong UPM Class of 2026 were 364 cum laude, 173 magna cum laude, and 12 summa cum laude graduates.
